As a Test Engineer, you'll play an integral role in our product development team, ensuring the quality and reliability of Pulsara's applications.
- Collaborating with our supportive development team to provide design feedback, test, and ship new features
- Learning new features and becoming an expert in the product
- Creating and executing test plans to maintain high-quality standards
- Reporting product defects and verifying fixes
- Communicating product feedback and helping refine requirements
- Designing reusable test cases for manual testing or new automation coverage
- Collaborating with other testers on team testing sessions, test scenarios, and test review
- Championing our customers' needs by providing valuable insights and feedback
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong test planning and execution skills
- Ability to write clear, detailed defect reports with reproducible steps
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Experience with JIRA, Zephyr Squad, and G Suite (or equivalent tools)
- Basic familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and source control workflows
- Proficiency in browser debugging tools
Requirements
- Experience testing native iOS and Android apps (Bonus)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (Bonus)
- Experience with mobile app automation (Bonus)
- Web automation experience (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) (Bonus)
- API testing using Postman (Bonus)
