[Hiring] Test Automation Engineer @UNIQA Group Services

Role Description

This is a full-time job suitable for passionate professionals who want to work for a leading European Insurance Group on a very flexible work schedule. You will work as part of a multinational group with true, large, enterprise-wide systems, complex architectures and real-life constraints (speed, performance, non-stop systems availability) and are going to be part of an agile team aimed at designing and implementing enterprise level solutions.

You will be responsible for the design, creation, and execution of automated test cases, as well as analyzing results in line with internal test automation standards.

Contract duration: Undetermined

Schedule: Full-time (8 hrs/day, Monday to Friday)

Your Responsibilities

• Design, create and execute test automation scripts
• Enhance/adapt automation test cases as needed due to testing issues encountered or test specification changes
• Actively identify areas of automation and provide automation solutions considering know-how gathered in previous automation test events
• Work in close collaboration with functional testers and developers (members of development team) to facilitate test automation
• Support the designing and development of a robust automation framework (a set of abstract concepts, processes, procedures and environment in which automated tests will be designed, created and implemented)
• Manage the automation framework and test suite (detailed instructions or goals for each collection of test cases)
• Respect and implement the company's internal standards of test automation
• Creation and execution of Load&Performance Tests and analysis of the results
• Support TOSCA Infrastructure.

Qualifications

• University degree (Bachelor/Master) in IT or other relevant studies
• Previous experience as Test automation specialist/engineer or similar field experience
• Knowledge of software development
• Experience with test automation and non-functional testing
• Good communication skills
• Effective team-player in a corporate environment
• Capable of analytical and solution-oriented thinking
• Structured, organized working style, with an ambition to deliver quality results in limited time
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)

Requirements

• Fluent in German (both spoken and written)
• Experience in using JIRA and Confluence
• Experience in the Insurance field
