Role Description

The customer is a large automotive company. They are looking for a strong mobile tester who has good communication skills and is open to working US hours. Typical working hours will be either 8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm EST.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement manual testing strategies for mobile applications.
• Develop and execute test cases for iOS and Android platforms.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
• Transition from manual testing to automation, selecting appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Establish and maintain mobile testing environments.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mobile testing.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in mobile testing (iOS & Android).
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Appium, XCTest, Espresso, etc.).
• Ability to set up testing frameworks from scratch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile development environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (upper-intermediate English skills or above).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
