[Hiring] Software Quality Assurance Engineer @Teradyne

Role Description

Teradyne IT BMO (Business Management Office) is looking for an experienced Software QA Engineer to join our QA team. In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for web applications and APIs.
• Define testing strategies for product verification and validation; create and maintain test plans.
• Participate in internal and cross-functional reviews of requirements and design specifications.
• Review, analyze, and summarize test results; log anomalies in the defect tracking system, communicate status to stakeholders, and recommend solutions to identified issues.
• Enforce quality standards throughout the development lifecycle and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
• Support and mentor other members of the QA team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience testing complex software systems.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QA processes, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Practical knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or NeoLoad.
• Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, qTest or other test/bug management systems.
• Understanding of Jenkins or a similar CI/automation server.
• Experience with database testing and SQL.
• Working knowledge of a programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java, Python) and automation testing tools (e.g., Tosca, Playwright, TestNG, Selenium).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with a clear focus on meeting deadlines.
