[Hiring] Software QA Engineer I @Cable ONE

This role will be reported to the Manager of Software QA of Digital Strategy. The QA Software Engineer will work primarily cross-functionally with development, design, and content teams to maintain and improve quality assurance processes.

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and e-commerce applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and accessibility testing across digital properties.
• Perform database validation using SQL queries.
• Perform API testing using tools like SOAP and Postman.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to identify and resolve defects.
• Utilize enterprise QA practices and tools to ensure consistent quality standards.
• Track and manage defects using Azure DevOps.
• Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in software quality assurance for web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with product management tools like Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred, but equivalent experience highly valued.

Requirements

• Experience in cable/broadband industry (nice to have).
• Experience in SQL Queries (nice to have).
• Familiarity with APIs and tools like Postman (nice to have).
• Knowledge of mobile application testing and e-commerce optimization (nice to have).
• Knowledge in W3C WCAG Guidelines (nice to have).
