[Hiring] Senior SDET – Data Quality Engineering @Encora

Role Description

We at Coforge are hiring a Senior SDET – Data Quality Engineering (#21503) with the following skill set.

• Own and drive the data quality strategy across enterprise data platforms.
• Design and implement testing for ETL/ELT pipelines, including validation, reconciliation, and regression testing.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to improve data quality standards and support reliable decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Quality Engineering, SDET, or Quality Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, dbt, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT pipeline validation.
• Proven experience building automated data testing frameworks and end-to-end testing solutions.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern testing strategies.
• Experience validating large-scale data pipelines, warehouses, and datasets for quality, accuracy, and performance.
• Experience contributing to data quality best practices, testing strategies, and enterprise data environments.
• Mandatory experience in insurance or financial services domains (claims, policies, underwriting, regulatory reporting).
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in complex environments with strong attention to data accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with data governance, observability, and data modernization initiatives.
• Experience supporting data migration or enterprise modernization projects.
• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for validation and reporting context.
• Experience mentoring teams, reviewing testing strategies, and defining QE best practices.
