Role Description

Join Gainwell as a Senior Quality Professional and help strengthen quality, compliance, and operational performance across healthcare operations. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and lead contributor, monitoring quality initiatives, service-level performance, incidents, corrective actions, audits, and contractual deliverables. You will partner with quality professionals, operational leaders, and other stakeholders to identify risks, resolve complex issues, improve processes, and support continuous quality improvement.

• Lead and coordinate quality activities, including monitoring incidents, performance issues, service-level agreements (SLAs), corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure timely resolution and compliance with established requirements.
• Analyze quality and operational performance, conduct or support root cause investigations, identify trends and risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate recurring quality reporting and deliverables, ensuring information is complete, accurate, timely, and appropriately communicated to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audits, contract compliance activities, performance monitoring, and quality reviews while maintaining accurate documentation and escalating risks or missed expectations when appropriate.
• Serve as a quality subject matter expert, mentor and coach team members, facilitate quality meetings, and partner with operational and senior leadership to advance continuous improvement and organizational performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in quality assurance, quality management, healthcare operations, regulatory or contract compliance, operational performance, auditing, or a related field.
• Experience monitoring and analyzing SLAs, KPIs, incidents, performance issues, corrective action plans, or other contractual and operational performance measures.
• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis, quality investigations, audit support, risk identification, corrective actions, and continuous process improvement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, project-management, written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports and presenting findings or recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Experience in healthcare, health insurance, Medicaid/Medicare, government healthcare programs, or healthcare technology/services preferred, along with proficiency using Microsoft Office and reporting/tracking tools.

Requirements

• Full-time remote position; applicants must reside within the United States.
• Work closely with quality professionals, operational teams, senior leadership, and client-facing stakeholders in a highly collaborative healthcare environment.
• Manage multiple concurrent quality initiatives, reporting deadlines, incidents, performance issues, audits, and contractual deliverables requiring strong organization and independent follow-through.
• Maintain a reliable remote work environment with a private workspace and hard-wired high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; Wi-Fi is not permitted as the primary connection.
