Role Description

This position is for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in the creation and management of test cases, as well as the establishment of QA practices for the team. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Establishing and implementing manual QA practices and processes.
• Writing and managing test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Executing test cases and reporting issues to the development team.
• Collaborating closely with the development team to ensure that QA standards are followed.
• Overseeing the transition to automated QA processes as the team expands.
• Conducting code reviews and contributing to unit testing.
• Keeping up to date with industry best practices and emerging QA technologies.
• Providing training and mentorship to junior QA team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in establishing and leading manual QA processes and teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Extensive experience with manual testing and test case creation.
• Proficiency in writing detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in setting up QA practices and working closely with development teams.
• Familiarity with QA automation tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
