Role Description

Own the quality assurance tasks for multiple projects, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

• Actively participate in design and requirements reviews to ensure testability and usability of features and products.
• Lead testing efforts, including developing and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts.
• Plan, implement and execute testing tasks in different product areas - DB, integration, functional, UI/UX.
• Analyse test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes as needed.
• Provide technical and process mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
• Work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript, Java, etc.).
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, TestNG, etc.).
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Strong RDBMS knowledge.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A very good command of English and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field (nice to have).
• Experience with testing microservices and distributed systems (nice to have).
• Experience in testing mobile applications (nice to have).
• Experience with NoSQL DB (nice to have).
• Experience with Event Stream Processing platforms (nice to have).
