[Hiring] Senior QA Manual Testing @RELQ Technologies

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr QA - Manual Testing to lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across web, mobile, and backend applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategy, leading manual testing teams, ensuring high-quality releases, and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile environment.

• Lead and manage manual QA activities across multiple projects
• Define and own QA strategy, test plans, and test approach
• Review and approve test cases, test scenarios, and test execution results
• Coordinate system testing, integration testing, regression testing, UAT support
• Ensure requirement traceability and full test coverage
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA / ALM / Azure DevOps
• Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely defect resolution
• Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Scrum Masters
• Lead daily QA stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Mentor and guide QA team members; conduct peer reviews
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices
• Support release planning and go/no-go decisions
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and quality metrics

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing for web and mobile applications
• Excellent understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Expertise in functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing
• Strong experience in test case design techniques (Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, Decision Tables)

Requirements

• Defect Tracking & Test Management: JIRA, ALM, TestRail, Azure DevOps
• Browsers & Devices: Cross-browser and cross-device testing
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation (good to have)
• API testing awareness using Postman or similar tools (good to have)
• Proven experience leading manual QA teams (5-15 members)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience working with onshore/offshore teams
