Role Description

We are supporting a back-office modernization initiative for a leading insurance client, Prosperity Life Group. The project involves rebuilding a legacy workflow and document management platform using a modern cloud-native architecture.

• Java modular monolith applications
• React/TypeScript frontend
• AWS-native microservices ecosystem

The environment is highly regulated, requiring strong focus on auditability, workflow accuracy, data integrity, and role-based access validation.

Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Location: US-Based / Remote

Duration: 5+ yr

• Own QA strategy and automation across API, integration, UI, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright/Cypress and Postman/Rest Assured.
• Validate REST APIs, event-driven workflows, database integrity, and AWS services.
• Perform SQL-based database validation across PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Ensure testing coverage for audit trails, workflow transitions, and role-based access controls.
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams and support CI/CD testing practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Strong expertise in:
  • API Testing
  • UI Automation
  • SQL Validation
  • AWS Testing
• Experience with React/TypeScript applications and cloud-native systems.
• Strong Agile and stakeholder collaboration experience.

Requirements

• Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot as part of their daily workflow.
