Role Description

Jitterbit is seeking a SDET Engineer who is smart, curious, and loves the challenge of solving problems that improve the testing feedback loop. You'll collaborate with an agile team to:

• Architect, implement, and continuously deliver the testing tools and infrastructure required to run tests at scale for both front-end and back-end components.
• Use the latest technologies such as Node, Webdriver.io, and Typescript or from pytest and Python.
• Work with the DevOps team to integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Selenium Grid, Docker, and other similar technologies.
• Be exposed to various end-user endpoints including MS Sql Server, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, MS Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, NetSuite, and other technology endpoints such as REST, SOAP, FTP, HTTP, XML.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Software Engineer in Test with hands-on experience designing, building, and evolving scalable automation frameworks.
• A proven track record of transforming manual test coverage into maintainable, high-value automated test suites.
• Strong experience with modern frameworks and tools such as Node.js, Angular, WebdriverIO, Jasmine/Mocha, Selenium, or PyTest.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality test code.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as an embedded Quality Engineer.
• Exposure to iPaaS, SaaS, or other cloud-based platforms.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP) and validating integrations with relational databases, CRM/ERP systems, and third-party platforms.
• Comfortable working with tools such as Postman, Jenkins, Docker, VirtualBox/Hyper-V, npm/yarn, JMeter, JIRA, GitHub.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve test generation, code quality, analysis, or productivity.
• Comfortable reading vendor API documentation and navigating complex integration landscapes.
• Experienced in working with distributed teams across time zones.
• Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to flex hours when needed to support cross-time-zone collaboration and critical releases.
