Role Description

This position is responsible for developing software solutions to test applications and systems to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality. This role:

• Develops and maintains automated test scripts using established frameworks and tools.
• Collaborates with software developers to identify and resolve defects and issues.
• Participates in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
• Reviews and analyzes system specifications and documentation to ensure testability and alignment with business requirements.
• Executes test cases (manual or automated) and analyzes results.
• Identifies, records, and tracks bugs and defects in the software.
• Liaises with internal teams to identify system requirements.
• Performs thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Coordinates with geographically distributed teams.
• Uses approved AI-assisted tools to support coding/scripting, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, technical research, and related work to improve the quality and speed of deliverables.
• Reviews and validates AI-generated outputs to ensure they meet company standards for security, privacy, quality, accuracy, and responsible use.
• Supports the adoption and expansion of AI technologies by evaluating tools, new uses, and processes while providing constructive feedback.
• Participates in other projects or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required.
• Zero (0) plus years of experience.
• Proven work experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar role.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD).
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience with mobile, API, and database testing is a plus.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
• Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and the willingness to learn commonly used in test automation.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Salary: $67,500 - $92,800/annually
• The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

• Primarily seated work; extensive computer and telephone use; occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
