Role Description

This role involves Salesforce QA testing with a focus on the Financial Services Cloud.

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of Salesforce configurations and customizations.
Utilize Salesforce testing tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Provar, or similar.
Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps).
Perform data validation and ensure data integrity within Salesforce.
Develop and execute test cases specific to FSC functionalities, including client onboarding, wealth management, insurance, and lending processes.
Validate FSC configurations, customizations, and integrations with other systems.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to financial services.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
Implement and maintain test automation frameworks.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze and report on test automation results.
Review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications to ensure testability.
Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and identify potential issues.
Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions.
Set up and maintain test environments for Salesforce applications.
Ensure test data is accurate and up-to-date.
Coordinate with developers and system administrators to resolve test environment issues.
Collaborate with remote teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the EST time zone, ensuring overlap during working hours.
Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues.
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Document testing procedures and best practices.
Maintain knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Salesforce QA testing.
Strong experience in testing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience with Salesforce testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Provar).
Experience with defect tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps).
Understanding of Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Ability to overlap some hours with EST.
