[Hiring] Quality Auditor @Champion Homes

Role Description

The Quality Auditor conducts training and audits at manufacturing plants to both monitor the plants' compliance and help plant associates implement Quality Improvement Processes to better comply with the Company's Product Assurance Management Policy. Consistent with the Company's objective to build high-quality products that exceed our customers' needs and expectations, the Company is committed to providing products and services that perform their intended functions safely, reliably, and with minimum effects on the environment. Efforts shall be taken to identify and minimize potential product hazards during all phases of our products' life, including design, manufacture, marketing, delivery, installation, service, and use. Reasonable measures shall be taken to minimize the risk of injury to persons and damage to property and the environment, giving full regard to applicable federal, state, and local building codes and other regulatory requirements. In addition, the Quality and Service Auditor/Trainer conducts audits of Service Processes and related regulatory requirements and provides training in the company's ERP System (NAV).

Qualifications

• Four or more years' experience in the manufactured housing/building industry in a Quality, Service, or Engineering related position
• EPR Systems experience
• Knowledge of HUD and modular codes
• Experience with Navision preferred
• Drafting and AutoCAD experience a plus

Requirements

• Extensive travel required (80%) as this position will be auditing and training multiple company plants throughout the United States on a weekly basis. Home base should be located within 1 hour of a major airport
