[Hiring] Quality Assurance Tester @Elite Virtual Staffing

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Tester with strong manual testing experience to support a large, modular SaaS platform. The ideal candidate has solid testing fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and experience testing complex web-based systems independently within a fast-moving product team.

• Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Test end-to-end workflows across registration, membership, e-commerce, events, LMS, CRM, and admin functions
• Create and maintain detailed test cases and test plans
• Identify and document bugs with clear, reproducible steps
• Validate fixes and complete regression testing before releases
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and operations
• Test across different browsers, devices, and environments
• Ensure releases meet defined quality and acceptance criteria

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional manual QA testing experience
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA best practices
• Experience testing web-based SaaS applications and complex workflows
• Experience with e-commerce, CRM, LMS, CMS, or membership platforms
• Strong bug reporting and test documentation skills
• Comfortable working in Agile or iterative development environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency
• Experience with payments, role-based access, multi-tenant SaaS systems, API testing, Jira, or TestRail is an advantage
• Basic understanding of how developers debug issues is helpful
• MUST have experience working overnight or graveyard shifts since working hours are in Canada Eastern Time

Benefits

• CAD 2,000 per month, approximately R23,558 per month, depending on the prevailing exchange rate.
• The salary will be paid in Canadian dollars, so the ZAR equivalent may fluctuate slightly based on currency movements.
