[Hiring] Quality Assurance Specialist @WhiteTech

Role Description

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at WhiteTech, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our cutting-edge payment solutions. Your efforts in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs, along with your active involvement in the entire software development lifecycle, will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of our products. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to push the boundaries of what's possible in the fintech industry.

Your key responsibilities:

• Investigate customer-reported bugs and product issues from initial report to final resolution.
• Reproduce issues, identify root causes, and collect all necessary technical and business context.
• Analyze logs, API requests, database records, historical tickets, documentation, and previous incidents to understand product behavior.
• Actively collaborate with QA engineers, developers, Business Analysts, and other teams to obtain missing information and drive issues to resolution.
• Take ownership of support cases and proactively follow up with stakeholders until a clear answer or solution is provided.
• Validate bug fixes and perform targeted regression testing to ensure that resolved issues do not affect related functionality.
• Distinguish between actual defects, configuration issues, integration problems, data-related cases, and expected product behavior.
• Prepare clear and detailed bug reports with reproduction steps, evidence, logs, request/response data, and impact description.
• Search and maintain knowledge across documentation, historical cases, and internal systems to speed up future investigations.
• Identify recurring problems and contribute to improving QA, support, and incident investigation processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manual and semi-automated testing of web-based applications.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with API testing, including auth flows, error handling, and payload validation.
• Proven experience testing payment systems, transactional flows, and basic third-party integrations.
• Experience with responsive design testing, browser dev tools, network analysis, and cross-platform validation.
• Knowledge of Postman, Chrome DevTools, Swagger, and test management systems (e.g. TestRail, Xray).
• Understanding of frontend–backend architecture, including REST APIs, session handling, and data flows.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend consistency checks.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development processes.
• A strong "pixel-perfect" mindset and ability to quickly identify visual and behavioral UI issues.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership.
