Role Description
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with internal teams.
- Prepare detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs
- Build and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Organize testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Review debugging process results
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Analyze the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Maintain relevant knowledge about new testing tools and test strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Manual and Automation testing
- Experience in Bug reporting using tools such as Asana, JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla
- Proficient in API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, etc.
- Writing basic SQL and MongoDB queries
- Experience in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
- Familiarity with Postman (Newman), RestAssured, Karate, Jenkins, and GIT
- Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or with a group
