Role Description

Can you keep up with the pace without losing an eye for detail? You'll be the person who actually uses the app the way the end user does - clicking through every flow, trying to break things, and making sure that what they ship genuinely works for real clients and the end user. You'll write the test scenarios, define what "working correctly" looks like, and run the tests yourself. When something feels off about the user experience, even if it technically works, you'll be the one to flag it.

This isn't a role where you just follow a checklist. Their pipeline isn't heavily automated yet; deployments happen often, and priorities shift. They need someone who can think on their feet and figure out what to test when there isn't time to test everything.

• Write clear test scenarios with expected results for new features and fixes
• Run manual tests across the product - web app, booking widgets, and integrations
• Test from the perspective of different users: business owners, staff, and end users
• Spot UX issues, confusing flows, and inconsistencies - not just bugs
• Verify fixes and re-test after deployments
• Help prioritise what to test when they ship under time pressure
• Document bugs clearly so developers can reproduce and fix them quickly
• Work closely with developers, product, and customer support to understand what real users are hitting

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in QA, software testing, or a closely related role
• A natural sense for how users behave and where they get confused
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly (both verbally and in writing) in English
• A critical thinker with innate curiosity - you ask "what happens if…" a lot
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own testing priorities
• Familiar with bug tracking tools (Jira, Linear, or similar)
• Strong understanding of how web apps work (browsers, devices, basic dev tools)

Requirements

• Experience testing SaaS products, especially in hospitality, reservations, or related tech (nice to have)
• Some exposure to API testing (Postman or similar) - useful, not required
• Multilingual - many of the customers are not native English speakers
