Qualifications

• Strong experience owning end-to-end QA strategy across both manual and automated testing
• Experience defining test coverage, quality standards, and testing approaches across complex software environments
• Hands-on experience with test case management platforms such as TestMo, TestRail, Zephyr, qTest, or equivalent
• Strong experience designing and evolving test automation architectures, including framework selection, structure, scalability, and maintainability
• Hands-on experience with API testing, including REST APIs, authentication flows, and contract validation
• Experience defining regression testing strategies and release quality gates
• Strong defect management experience, including severity and priority frameworks, triage processes, and effective collaboration with engineering teams
• Experience defining and implementing Definition of Done and quality acceptance criteria in collaboration with clients and delivery teams
• Ability to provide clear, client-facing quality reporting, communicating release readiness, risks, defects, and quality trends
• Experience establishing quality traceability and testing evidence within regulated, compliance-driven, or audited environments
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation frameworks is highly valued
• Understanding of performance and security testing fundamentals
• Familiarity with data pipeline testing and the ability to coordinate quality practices with Data Engineering teams and automated data testing frameworks such as dbt
• Experience building or significantly improving a QA practice, particularly in environments with limited existing automated coverage
• Ability to assess large existing manual test suites and progressively establish an effective, maintainable automation strategy
• Strong ownership and quality mindset, using risk, coverage, release confidence, and production outcomes rather than test counts alone to evaluate quality
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills across Engineering, Product, Data, and client stakeholders
• Professional English communication skills and the ability to communicate quality decisions and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Own the QA strategy across maintenance and delivery, evolving manual and automated coverage into a reliable, risk-based quality practice.
• Define the automation architecture, release gates, traceability, and quality standards needed to improve release confidence across a complex and regulated software environment.
