Role Description

The QA Automation Lead will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software through effective testing strategies and automation.

• 6-8 years' experience in software testing
• Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
• Hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium and browser-based web application testing
• Experience in automation code development, debugging, and execution using IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Good knowledge in Java
• Nice to have exposure in Spring framework
• Nice to have knowledge in headless development and database knowledge
• Nice to have knowledge in API testing using Postman, Soap-UI, or Ready API
• Knowledge in Jenkins job
• Understanding data flow between multiple applications
• Good communication skills
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Monitor and maintain problem logs, and report issues
• Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
• Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how QA functions within it

Qualifications

• Experience in Selenium and browser-based web application testing
• Experience in automation code development and debugging
• Good knowledge in Java
