[Hiring] QA Automation Engineer @Verbit

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team and build scalable automation solutions from the ground up. In this role, you’ll design and develop modern test frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and Python, while leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve speed, quality, and innovation. This is a remote position.

We are looking for candidates based in Europe who are fluent in Ukrainian and can effectively collaborate with the team within the relevant working time zone.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation infrastructure and E2E frameworks from scratch
• Develop automated tests for web applications using Playwright, TypeScript, and Python
• Work closely with R&D and product teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Lead test planning, design, and execution (E2E, integration)
• Support release processes and version validation
• Leverage AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, etc.) for test generation, debugging, and productivity
• Promote best practices and continuously improve automation strategies

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in web application testing
• Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright + TypeScript
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with test planning (STP/STD) and test case design
• Experience working in agile environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot)

Requirements

• Nice to have: Experience testing AI/ML or LLM-based systems
• API and performance testing experience
