[Hiring] Performance Testing - Senior @NewVison

Role Description

• Demonstrate strong work discipline and effective collaboration with Product Delivery teams, architects, leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver timely, high-quality performance engineering services for large and complex technology solutions, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery.
• Define Performance Testing and Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) testing strategies, plans, and success criteria.
• Drive the identification and creation of test scenarios, test cases, and workloads to validate performance, scalability, reliability, and other NFRs.
• Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
• Execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing activities.
• Collect, monitor, and analyze performance metrics from application, infrastructure, and database layers.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and provide recommendations for performance optimization.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries, highlighting findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with development, architecture, DevOps, infrastructure, and product teams to ensure performance objectives are achieved throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, scripting, executing, collecting metrics of performance testing.
• Proven background in performance testing and NFR gathering, managing the complete lifecycle from strategy and planning through execution and performance analysis.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing is mandatory, with strong expertise in JMeter. (Experience with LoadRunner and Neo Load will be considered an added advantage)
• Basic knowledge of databases, including understanding of SQL queries, data validation, and performance-related database concepts.
• Demonstrated experience in performance testing across SaaS, PaaS, and on-premises environments. Strong exposure to cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, is highly preferred. (Experience with AWS considered a valuable additional skill)
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana or Splunk.
