Role Description

Assist in the development of performance test strategies and frameworks, ensuring they align with organizational goals and industry best practices;

• Participate in the execution of performance, scalability, stability, and stress tests, utilizing established tools and methodologies;
• Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and support initiatives for system optimization and enhancement;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers, to integrate performance objectives into the product lifecycle;
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement and development within the team;
• Create technical documentation and reports, offering insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

Telecommuting permitted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field plus 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Performance Test Engineer, IT Architect, or related occupation.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in performance testing using LoadRunner or JMeter;
• Reading and writing in C#;
• Analyzing performance metrics and optimizing stored procedures in SQL;
• Creating technical documentation and reports for software applications and solutions;
• Mentoring junior developers, architects, or product managers;
• Analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and pinpointing bottlenecks to support system operation.

Telecommuting permitted. 40 hours/week. $104,728 to $125,000 per year.
