[Hiring] Performance Test Engineer - JMeter @RELQ Technologies

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JMeter. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure our applications meet high standards of scalability, reliability, and responsiveness. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to identify performance issues and drive improvements across the system.

• Design and implement performance test strategies using JMeter based on application requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize performance test scripts for web and API-based applications.
• Execute different types of performance tests including load, stress, endurance and scalability testing.
• Analyze performance results, identify system bottlenecks, and collaborate with engineering teams for resolution.
• Work with development, DevOps and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues.
• Monitor and analyze system performance using tools such as Grafana, InfluxDB, New Relic or Dynatrace.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Continuously improve performance testing processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance coverage and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter for performance testing.
• Proven experience conducting load, stress, endurance and scalability tests.
• Good understanding of web protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, REST and SOAP.
• Ability to analyze system metrics and troubleshoot performance issues effectively.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, InfluxDB, New Relic or Dynatrace.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps and QA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly.
