Role Description

The Performance Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Utilizing JMeter, Jira, Cucumber, LoadRunner, and Performance Center.
• Working with HP Site scope and other latest performance testing tools.
• Employing CA Lisa Virtualization and open-source performance testing tools (Apache Meter, WebLOAD).
• Creating test summary reports for management review in PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Analyzing test results and collaborating with support teams for troubleshooting and performance tuning recommendations.
• Managing and using dashboards for continuous monitoring and health checks of applications and infrastructure.
• Improving service quality using monitoring feedback for non-production environments.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of software development and testing experience.
• Expert in automated testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner/Performance Center, Storm Runner, Selenium, etc.
• Expert in APM tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.
• Experience in one or more programming languages: C, C#, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or scripting experience in Shell and Perl.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools, such as Jenkins, Cloudbees, etc.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Chef.

Requirements

• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
