Role Description

As a Performance Test Engineer, you will design and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies to ensure system stability and scalability. You will collaborate with engineering teams to identify system bottlenecks and optimize application performance under various load conditions.

• Design and implement automated performance tests including load, stress, and endurance testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, and k6.
• Analyze system performance metrics to identify architectural bottlenecks and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
• Build and maintain automated performance regression suites to ensure consistent system behavior across software releases.
• Conduct capacity planning exercises and simulations to determine infrastructure requirements for anticipated growth.
• Develop and execute performance scripts using Locust to simulate realistic user traffic and data patterns.
• Partner with development teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines for early detection of regressions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance.
• Proven expertise in designing and executing performance, load, and stress tests.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.
• Hands-on experience in capacity planning and building performance regression suites.
• Strong background in analyzing system bottlenecks and optimizing application performance.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
