[Hiring] Oracle EBS / BI Apps (OBIA) QE Testing (Functional & Technical) @Rackspace Technology

Role Description

Quality Engineer responsible for end-to-end testing of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Business Intelligence Application (OBIA) implementations and customizations, focusing on Financial & Procurement modules with strong SQL/PL-SQL skills.

• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11G & 12C
• Oracle Business Intelligence Application (OBIA)

• Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 12c
• Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) Data Replication Process
• Oracle Communications Data Model (OCDM)
• Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM)

Must Know Skills:

• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data validation, query verification, and test data preparation
• Detailed experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application functional and testing knowledge on Financial and Procurement modules
• Experience in EBS-to-OBIA data integration testing and reconciliation
• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts (star schema, slowly changing dimensions, fact tables)
• Knowledge of EBS tables, data models, and business processes for Financial and Procurement flows
• Test financial period close processes and reconciliation report
• Good Understanding on OBIA ETL jobs, SQL analysis
• Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects to identify performance bottlenecks and work with development team on optimization
• Create detailed test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing scenarios
• Ability to work closely with on-site/offshore development teams and business analysts
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and design documents

Good to have:

• Experience in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to test complex dashboard functionality, prompts, agents, and conditional formatting reports along with session logs extraction and SQL analysis to identify data issues
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies for OBIEE/ODI/OBIA implementations
• Performance testing experience for OBIEE/ODI applications
