Role Description
This role involves working directly with Frontend and Backend teams on various testing processes.
- Planning, writing, and executing tests and including them in the release sign-off process
- Manual testing of web apps, with a focus on Backend testing (90%)
- Manual testing of APIs
- Active work with requirements
- Test documentation creation and support
- Active participation in the development process
- Provide support to API clients teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing Web applications
- 1+ years of experience in API testing
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience with Postman/Swagger
- Experience with log systems
- Good understanding of QA methodologies & practices
- Understanding how the web and client-server interactions work is essential
- Experience in writing test documentation (test cases, bug reports, checklists)
- Knowledge and experience working with applications such as TestRail/Jira
Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus
- Desire to lead/organize the testing process within a team is a plus
