Role Description
We invite a Middle Automation QA Engineer to join the VeliEDGE product team. Edge is a dynamic, revolutionary client engagement and marketing automation tool to boost customer retention.
- Be familiar with the Cypress framework and CI/CD process
- Increase automation coverage by adding new E2E, API, UI tests
- Support existing autotests after changes in our platform
- Increase re coverage by adding new tests
- Increase the quality and provide features into the automation framework
- Communicate with QA, Development, and Support teams
- Explore new ideas and best solutions
- Meet high standards and deliver constant improvement
- Experience with client-side layout and JavaScript
- Sometimes perform manual testing, less than 20%
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working as a QA Automation
- At least 6 months experience working as QA Manual
- Familiar with the Cypress framework, Cucumber, and JS (At least 1 year of experience working with Cypress framework and Cucumber)
- Deep understanding of the automation testing frameworks, methodologies, and tools
- Experience in testing backend and web applications
- Experience in using test automation tools like Cypress
- Experience in high-load projects
- Strong knowledge of REST API and experience in using Postman
- Strong knowledge of SQL and JavaScript
- Knowledge of CI/CD process and Gitlab, understanding of yml file syntax
- Experience in building and debugging systems in a team environment
- Experience with Java or any other back-end programming language
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy
- Experience with Rest API and HTTP protocol
- Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Intermediate level of English language
Requirements
- Base knowledge of React.js
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of Unix-like systems
- Good knowledge of performance testing
- Experience with Load tests
