Role Description
As a part of the R&D Department, you will participate in the testing process during the implementation of new changes in projects/products, ensuring the high quality of Altium Designer, and related Altium products based on its following quality standards.
- Work with the Team on the planning process
- Deliver new features and coordinate testing efforts between teams/PM/TL/RM, the support team, and technical writers
- Develop and maintain automated tests using C#
- Work with desktop automation tools
- Assist in troubleshooting issues with autotests
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- 1+ years of driving flow in the QA team
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- VCS systems (SVN, GIT) experience
- Experience in programming and automation scripting
- Familiarity with CAD tools will be highly regarded
- Upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English
Requirements
- Ability to identify flaws in testing processes, toolsets, and infrastructure, and propose and drive necessary improvements
Preferred Experience
- Experience with vector graphic editors (CAD)
- Experience in testing of desktop applications
- Experience in electronic engineering or similar
- Virtualization basic knowledge (VMWare, VBox, Virtual PC)
- Traffic sniffers knowledge (Fiddler, HTTP Debugger)
- Performance testing tools knowledge (i.e. Jmeter)
- Understanding of OOP language (C# or Java)
- Experience with automation testing (as a plus)
