Role Description

Intertek is actively seeking an ISO9001 Auditor to join our Business Assurance Team remotely. This will be a home-based position with extensive travel to client sites required. The candidate must be comfortable traveling 3 to 5 nights per week and must reside in the South-East USA.

The ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor will support the Business Assurance business by:

• Leading and/or participating as an assessor during all phases of a client’s management system (ISO 9001).
• Being the primary interface with the client before and during all auditing activities.
• Helping train lower graded Auditors through witness audits, technical support, and education.
• Exhibiting strong leadership and management qualities.

Qualifications

• 4 years of full-time appropriate practical experience.
• 2 years dedicated to Quality Assurance and/or Quality Management preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or service industries related to Chemicals, Plastics, Rubber, Metals, Electrical, IT, Transportation, Construction, or Medical.
• ISO9001:2015 lead auditor certification and previous 3rd party audit experience preferred.
• Engineering degree or at minimum some college experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required).
• Passport preferred.

Travel Requirements

• This will be a travel-based position, with extensive travel to client sites required.
• Candidate must be comfortable traveling 3 to 5 nights per week.
• Must be willing to travel extensively (more than 75%).
