Role Description
This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products as a Functional Software Tester.
- Develop and execute functional test plans to validate software functionality and performance.
- Conduct regression testing to identify potential issues before software releases.
- Utilize Postman for API testing and SQL for data validation and verification.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure software meets business requirements.
- Apply agile testing methodologies to support the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to test automation efforts where applicable.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of functional software testing principles and best practices.
- Experience developing and executing test plans.
- Proficiency in Postman for API testing.
- Knowledge of SQL for querying databases and verifying test data.
- Familiarity with regression testing techniques.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Experience testing applications built with React.
- Knowledge of LLMs like ChatGPT and related AI tools for analyzing requirements and/or developing test plans.
Requirements
- Experience in pharmacy systems or inventory management solutions is a huge plus.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
