Role Description
On behalf of first line of defense, leads team of risk experts who coordinate exam related activities and issues management actions across second and third lines of defense. Team activities include program coordination and project management support to ensure quality and consistency in first line risk management practices.
- Oversight of program to ensure adequate and prompt remediation of internal audit observations within areas of responsibility.
- Ensures BCA support is in place for all internal and external exams, advising on findings and remedial actions.
- Ensures team members effectively manage activities (task and time) related to risk examinations, both internal and external.
- Advises first line of defense on the adequacy of responses and remediation plans, including credible challenge to the sufficiency of the responses.
- Prepares reports on exam activities, including recommendations for improvement.
- Directly leads analysis of potential significant deficiencies, material weaknesses in control, and any control deficiency involving potential fraud and misappropriation of company assets, including drafting of reports and presentations for senior leadership and audit committee level review.
- Provides support to business in RCSA Creation and Refresh cycles, Archer (Risk System) Administration and other RCSA related activities.
- Responsible for on-going BCA resourcing, hiring, training, development, support, and tools.
- Collaborates with senior financial, compliance, legal and operating leaders in support of the internal control environment and related risk assessment and monitoring process.
- Leads innovation in building a “controls-driven culture” across company.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
- Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
