[Hiring] Automation Test Engineer @Motorola Solutions

Role Description

This role is primarily remote, however, there would be a benefit to be located closer to the Glasgow area.

• Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software Automation Test script for the organization’s products and systems.
• Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
• Develops, validates, and tests structures and user documentation.
• Assists in resolving customer field issues on live, production systems.
• Troubleshoots customer reported issues.
• Maintains client/server product.

Qualifications

• A formal qualification (Degree) in Computing Science or equivalent numerate qualification.
• Experience with Java, Python or C#.
• 3+ years experience with UI automation frameworks, targeting handheld/windows apps (e.g. Appium, XCUITest, Repeato).

Requirements

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• ISTQB certification.
• Knowledge of source code management technologies (e.g. GIT, SubVersion etc.).
• Knowledge of software development / issue tracking systems (e.g. Jira, MS DevOps etc.).
• Experience with web service technologies (e.g. SOAP, REST, JSON etc.).
• Create/maintain scripts to perform repetitive tasks (Powershell, Bash, etc.).
