Role Description
As we embark on an ambitious strategic roadmap with major releases planned for 2025-2028, we're seeking a talented and dedicated Automation Engineer to help us create ground-breaking experiences that captivate players worldwide.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test scripts for game environments.
- Contribute to and improve the test automation framework for scalability and adaptability.
- Review automated test results with QA and Programming teams to identify issues, providing actionable insights.
- Work with teams to define and implement effective test strategies for game features and quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and quick feedback.
- Create and maintain documentation for automation processes and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automation Engineer in the gaming industry, focusing on automating game testing.
- Strong expertise in Unreal Engine 5 and automation tools like Gauntlett for game testing.
- Proficient in C++ for building automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiar with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and integrating tests into these pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for test failures.
- Ability to work closely with teams to align tests with game development goals.
- Focus on comprehensive test coverage, including edge cases affecting game performance.
Requirements
- Nice to have: JavaScript and Python
- Familiarity with Soulslike games
- Experience working fully remote
