Role Description

As an Associate Software Quality Engineer, you will contribute to software quality and validation activities for enterprise-level healthcare technology solutions. Working within an Agile development environment, you will:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 0 to 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, validation, or a related technical discipline
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, testing processes, and software development lifecycle concepts
• Experience or exposure to manual and automated testing tools and techniques
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies preferred
• Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, clinical research, or pharmaceutical technology is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, Amazon Web Services (AWS), automation, or DevOps practices is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and recommend solutions
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving project requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams while also managing assigned responsibilities independently

Requirements

• Support validation and quality assurance activities for eCOA software products in accordance with established SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards
• Participate in software testing activities, including test reviews, test execution, and test witnessing within an Agile development environment
• Review product requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and related documentation to support comprehensive test coverage
• Assist in planning test efforts and identifying testing scope based on project requirements and release schedules
• Execute manual and automated test cases, document results, and maintain testing evidence in accordance with quality procedures
• Collaborate with software engineers, quality assurance team members, database administrators, and system administrators to investigate and resolve testing issues
• Support defect identification, documentation, tracking, and verification activities throughout the software development lifecycle
• Assist with troubleshooting test failures across multiple testing environments
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test documentation and validation deliverables
• Ensure timely completion of required training, documentation, and compliance activities
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing quality, efficiency, and consistency
• Support cross-functional collaboration and contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality and continuous improvement
