[Hiring] Application Testing Expert @Zensar

Role Description

As an Application Testing expert, you will be responsible for conducting thorough tests and evaluations of our retail customer's e-commerce platform. Your role is integral to the project's success, as you will identify and address potential issues, ensuring a seamless migration process. You will work closely with the development team to implement effective testing strategies and provide valuable insights to enhance the overall user experience.

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for the e-commerce platform.
• Identify and report bugs, errors, and performance issues, providing detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve identified issues and implement necessary fixes.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the platform after updates or changes.
• Execute regression, integration, system, smoke, and UAT testing.
• Perform usability testing to evaluate the user experience and provide feedback for improvements.
• Create and maintain test automation scripts to streamline the testing process.
• Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies, and suggest innovative testing approaches.
• Work closely with the project manager to ensure testing milestones are met and provide regular progress reports.
• Assist in creating and maintaining test environments, ensuring they are aligned with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application testing, preferably in retail or e-commerce domains.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform and its testing tools is a must.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex issues.
• Good understanding of web technologies and experience with cross-browser testing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with the team.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to testing and quality assurance.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
