[Hiring] Technology Implementation Manager @Sysco

Role Description

The Technology Implementation Manager will lead complex technology implementations from planning through deployment and stabilization, acting as the primary bridge between Technology, business stakeholders, vendors, and other delivery teams. The role will provide hands-on leadership across the implementation lifecycle while bringing a higher level of strategic thinking, stakeholder management, risk ownership, and organizational change leadership than a traditional Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional technology implementations from initiation through successful adoption and stabilization.
• Translate business objectives into implementation strategies, delivery plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Own implementation scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall delivery accountability.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams without necessarily having direct people-management responsibility.
• Partner closely with business leaders, Technology leadership, vendors, and operational stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Identify and proactively manage implementation risks, organizational dependencies, and barriers to successful adoption.
• Develop implementation and transition strategies, including readiness, communications, training, operational handoff, and post-launch stabilization.
• Establish and monitor success measures to ensure technology investments achieve their intended business outcomes.
• Provide leadership-level reporting and recommendations on implementation progress, risks, decisions, and business impact.
• Establish consistent implementation practices, tools, governance, and lessons learned across technology initiatives.
• Coach and provide delivery leadership to Project Managers and other implementation resources where appropriate.
• Support the Senior Manager, Project Delivery with portfolio planning, prioritization, capacity considerations, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of technology delivery and implementation experience, including experience leading complex enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders, working across multiple business functions, and coordinating internal and external delivery teams.
• Experience with enterprise systems, technology transformation, organizational change, vendor management, and implementation methodologies would be highly desirable.

• Ability to facilitate meetings to obtain clear outcomes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to support resolution of complex technical issues within a project team or workshop facilitation setting.
• Ability to drive value and ROI from project charter through to implementation and user-adoption.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in managing technology projects, including planning, execution, change management, implementation, hypercare and monitoring.
• High level of accuracy in documentation and adherence to procedures.
• Commitment to providing exceptional support and service to end-users.

Preferred Education/Credentials

• Degree in business or technology.
• Business Analyst, Project Manager, Product Manager, Change Management, Agile and Agile Scrum certifications.
