Ford Credit Platform Engineering is looking for a Technical Project Manager specializing in management of delivery of work through sprints and Program Increments. You will work on managing the governance and maintaining control of highly complex, cross-team, multi-project programs.

• Help delivery teams be laser focused on delivering work with quality.
• Minimize the effect of noise in the ecosystem on the core team delivering the work.
• Primary customers include engineering leaders, product managers, developers, and analytics teams within Ford Credit.
• Deep understanding of Lean-Agile program management practices (including SAFe) is required.

What you'll do...

• Manage one or more teams aligned to one of many Agile Release Trains (ART).
• Be the first line of defense to shield delivery teams from planned and unplanned needs.
• Collaborate with Transformation leadership team to develop Objective and Key Results (OKRs).
• Manage intake process for the program and coordinate intakes through assessment, estimation & planning phases.
• Drive governance to ensure strong scope change control.
• Oversee coordination of cross-functional teams involved in the transformation.
• Manage weekly forums of health measurement, dashboard generation, status reporting, risk monitoring, issue escalations, process audit & reporting.
• Maintain data sanity in tools like Jira, Confluence & SharePoint.
• Enhance quality standards to be followed across the teams.
• Integrate with teams external to the program for cross dependency tracking.
• Monitor process adherence & activate remediation protocols where needed.
• Provide support to other transformational services using data available in various tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant area of study or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• 8+ years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
• Extensive experience using, managing, and supporting teams with Agile program management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, etc.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area (preferred).
• Certification in Project or Program Management such as PMP (preferred).
• Certification in Lean-Agile practices, such as Certified Scrum Master or SAFe (preferred).
• Experience managing complex programs with solutions relying on cloud-native technologies (preferred).
• 12+ years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area (preferred).
• Extensive experience managing programs supporting Platform service-oriented or SaaS based solutions (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to influence the enterprise.
• Experience of administration and control of use access, workflows, trackers in JIRA and Confluence.
