Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager/Program Manager to join a forward-thinking team in the Oil & Gas industry. This is a technology-driven role that will require an individual who is not only proficient in project management but also passionate about piloting new technologies. The successful candidate will focus on subsurface processing and the development and integration of cutting-edge solutions.
- Manage the implementation and piloting of new technologies related to subsurface processing and post-combustion capture.
- Oversee and drive large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct project appraisals with a strong focus on emerging technologies in subsurface processing.
- Work closely with research and development teams to evaluate and assess new technologies.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement risk management strategies for new technology deployment.
- Ensure seamless integration of the latest technology solutions into existing infrastructure.
- Ensure all projects are executed with an emphasis on safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Monitor and control project budgets and schedules.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project engineers and technical specialists.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local, regional, and international regulations.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field). A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 6-8 years of experience in project management within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong track record of leading technology-driven projects.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong expertise in subsurface processing technologies and post-combustion capture systems.
- In-depth knowledge of carbon capture, CO2 sequestration, and emissions management technologies.
- Familiarity with industry-leading design tools and simulation software.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in driving technology change in subsurface processing.
- Familiarity with sustainable practices and technologies.
