Role Description
The Sr. Manager, Execution Management (“Sr. EM”) is a pivotal role responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle, from offtake negotiations, execution of the major procurement & service agreements, and all other functions up through mobilizing of construction.
- Participate in project strategy development, providing execution-focused insights.
- Align cross-functional teams around project objectives and timelines.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategy sessions and execution plans.
- Foster a collaborative environment among engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Oversee the development and management of the project schedule.
- Conduct regular project status reviews, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate project budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of cross-functional project management experience.
- At least 3 years specifically in utility-scale renewable energy project development and construction.
- Strong understanding of project accounting and financial liability schedules.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project costs, timelines, and external dependencies.
- Basic understanding of project scheduling and interrelationships between milestones.
- Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and address complex challenges.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, P6, and SmartSheets.
- Familiarity with utility-scale EPC contracting and execution.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in the procurement of EPC Balance of Plant services and major equipment.
- Understanding of inverter and battery technology and their applications.
- Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field.
