Role Description

This role involves overseeing work spanning both front-end website experiences and backend platforms, tools, and integrations. This role will manage website and web application feature requests, ensuring seamless functionality and an optimal user experience.

  • Follow Program Management best practices, ensuring alignment with guiding principles and key success factors.
  • Drive strategic technical programs by establishing clear objectives, measurable success criteria, and execution plans that align with business goals.
  • Build, maintain, and execute a comprehensive program roadmap that aligns with business goals.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks across multiple interrelated projects.
  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and stakeholders to write user stories and product requirements.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to define and implement scalable solutions for complex business needs.
  • Develop and implement best practices across program and project management disciplines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying process efficiencies and implementing enhancements.
  • Establish and track program KPIs, reporting progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive technical discussions, facilitate trade-off decisions, and align teams on priorities.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure changes are implemented smoothly.
  • Own and optimize development team sprint velocity and capacity planning.
  • Run Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Manage end-to-end project timelines from initiation through implementation, QA, and launch.
  • Oversee the execution of work by external vendors, ensuring alignment with internal tech teams.
  • Maintain and oversee program documentation, ensuring clear and up-to-date records.
  • Carry out any other appropriate duties as required to support the executive members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Project Management, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience managing complex technical programs or projects within an Agile framework, preferably in an Ecommerce or SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale technical programs with multiple workstreams and dependencies.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and driving collaboration across business and technical teams.
  • Strong proficiency in project management and documentation tools (Jira, Asana, Confluence, SharePoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to understand multiple functional areas of business including technology, e-commerce, design, finance, creative, and marketing.
  • Outstanding communicator with strong thought leadership and EQ.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage developers, designers, QA, and senior leadership.
  • Highly resilient and stress resistant, with a strong ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Self-starter with high initiative and a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Comfortable managing a high-volume workload with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems, assess risks, and provide structured, data-driven recommendations.
