[Hiring] Senior Specialist - Pre Construction & Permit Management @The Wendy's Company

Role Description

In this role, you will manage new restaurant Pre-Construction Phases including:

• Design
• Scheduling
• Preliminary Budget
• Final Budget
• Permitting process

This position focuses on reducing development timelines and supporting Construction Managers by:

• Working to accelerate design, tender, and permitting timelines.
• Being highly organized and able to track multiple projects.
• Managing competing priorities and holding vendors accountable.
• Producing accurate and timely updates.
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive exceptional results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of related experience in construction pre-construction, project management, and construction contract documents.
• Knowledge of construction processes and techniques, project planning and budgeting, construction materials/specifications, and permitting process.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple and diverse tasks/projects.
• Strong attention to detail, outstanding follow-through, and the ability to work under pressure, time constraints, and handle changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills to manage a diverse vendor network and educate vendors on current software and company policies/procedures.

Requirements

• Expected Work Location (Remote): It is expected that you will primarily perform work remotely.
• You may be asked to travel, as needed, to the Wendy's Canadian Restaurant Support Center or to other locations as designated by the Company.
• Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.

Benefits

• Base pay range: CAD $85,000.00/Yr. to CAD $145,000.00/Yr.
• The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position.
• May vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Target annual bonus for this role is XX% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
