[Hiring] Senior Project Manager – Convenience & Retail Store Development @CGI

Role Description

CGI is growing rapidly, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – Convenience & Retail Store Development to join our team!

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead projects through the full project lifecycle—from initiation and planning through execution, implementation, and successful project closure. This role supports a leading convenience and retail client, managing initiatives related to:

• New store openings
• Remodels
• Relocations
• Capital improvement projects

You will oversee project financials, including capital expenditures (CapEx), while ensuring alignment between business objectives, operational processes, technology solutions, and project delivery.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication, financial management, and stakeholder engagement while leading cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience leading complex projects from initiation through implementation and successful delivery.
• Experience supporting convenience store, retail, grocery, fuel retail, restaurant, or other multi-site operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing new store openings, remodels, relocations, or large-scale capital improvement projects.
• Experience managing project financials, including capital expenditure (CapEx), budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proven success managing cross-functional, geographically dispersed, and matrixed project teams.
• Experience working directly with executive stakeholders, business sponsors, and client leadership.
• Demonstrated success facilitating governance meetings, steering committees, and executive status reviews.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls, risk management, financial management, and change management.
