[Hiring] Senior Project Manager @Danaher

Role Description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading mid to large-scale multi-discipline installations within a Clinical Laboratory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions implementations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, efficient operation, and optimal performance of the laboratory solution implementation.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Project Management and is part of the pmONE organization and will be fully remote. Preference will be for candidates to be located on the east coast.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead and manage the entire implementation lifecycle of mid to large-scale multi-discipline installations within Clinical Laboratory settings.
• Develop and execute instrumentation project plans, ensuring customer readiness and adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including laboratory directors, engineers, technicians, and vendors to ensure successful project implementation.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of laboratory infrastructure, and readiness requirements to recommend appropriate instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions timeline.
• Oversee the procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree with preference for 5 years of Project Management experience with proven track record in managing projects, and be able to provide examples and project artifacts, i.e., Communication Plans, Project Plans, Risk Plans, etc.
• Advanced understanding of the Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with a heavy emphasis on the Laboratory Regulatory environment.
• PMP Certification is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Project Management software such as Smartsheet.
• Experience reading and interpreting floor plans and design drawings.
• Willing and able to work out of home-based office and travel around 80% of the time.

Requirements

• Ability to travel Monday-Friday 80% nationally.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
