Role Description

As a Sr Project Manager on the Business Management & Execution team, you’ll play a pivotal role by successfully managing and executing multiple cross-functional, strategic projects designed to accelerate business results. This role requires close collaboration with business, technology, marketing, legal, and other partners to:

• Document desired outcomes
• Identify activities required to achieve these outcomes
• Plan the resources and sequence activities
• Manage execution to deliver new products, services, or enhancements to both internal and external clients

• Identify program/project scope and high-level business objectives
• Proactively build strong, trusted working relationships with leaders and internal partners to drive alignment and decision-making
• Effectively manage, motivate, and hold accountable leads and team members in a matrixed organization
• Act as liaison and connector between departments
• Ability to perform all project management functions to expertly deliver complex programs and projects in a fluid and dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience
• 5-10+ years’ relevant work experience in financial services
• Strong understanding of the Financial Services Industry, specifically in Wealth Management and Employer Services
• Strong foundational project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, and project management software
• Excellent attention to detail; able to coordinate, prioritize and manage many simultaneous tasks and priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to use interpersonal skills to influence without authority

Requirements

• Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $107,500 - $143,400.
• Final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.
• This role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
