Role Description

Hitachi Federal is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager Professional Services to lead the successful delivery, growth, and performance of a portfolio of complex federal technology engagements. This role serves as a senior customer and delivery leader, with accountability for:

• Customer satisfaction
• Program performance
• Financial management
• Resource planning
• Team development
• Organic growth across assigned engagements

The Senior Program Manager will partner across various teams to ensure successful delivery while identifying opportunities to expand support for federal customers.

The ideal candidate is a PMP-certified leader with deep experience managing complex federal IT programs involving software development, cloud, data, and infrastructure technologies.

This is a highly visible role for a leader who can manage the details of successful program execution while maintaining a broader view of customer needs, portfolio performance, and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Program Management, or a related field.
• Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance required.
• 10+ years of progressive project/program management experience delivering complex enterprise or federal IT solutions.
• Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of concurrent projects or programs.
• Strong experience supporting federal government customers.
• Senior-level understanding of complex IT requirements, architectures, systems, and technology delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams in Agile/Scrum and/or hybrid delivery environments.
• Experience with cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure and storage technologies.
• Experience developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and professional services financial performance.
• Understanding of the Shipley process and experience supporting RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Strong customer relationship management and executive communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and experience with Atlassian Jira or comparable project/program management tools.
• PMP certification required.
