[Hiring] Senior Producer @TH Experiential

2d ago - TH Experiential is hiring a remote Senior Producer. πŸ’Έ Salary: competitive salary commensurate with experience πŸ“Location: USA

Role Description

The Senior Producer is a core production role at TH Experiential, responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of assigned projects with a high degree of independence. You own your projects β€” the budget, the timeline, the vendor relationships, and the quality of delivery. You work cross-functionally across Accounts, Strategy, Creative, and Operations to ensure every activation comes to life on time, on budget, and above client expectations. You are a seasoned production operator who brings deep craft knowledge β€” fabrication, permitting, logistics, and technical production β€” alongside the financial discipline and client presence to deliver margin-positive work at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Project Leadership & Lifecycle Ownership
    • Lead and manage assigned projects from post-kickoff through final closeout, adhering to TH's policies, processes, and client service standards.
    • Serve as the primary production point of contact for your assigned projects, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all workstreams at every phase: pre-production, build, load-in, event, reconciliation, and closeout.
    • Provide solution recommendations that are on-strategy, executable within timeline and budget, and deliver the best possible outcome for the client.
    • Work cross-functionally across Accounts, Strategy, Client Development, Design, and Operations.
    • Collaborate with the assigned Project/Account Manager, contributing to all client-facing materials before they are sent out.
    • Travel for assigned projects as required.
  • Fabrication & Build Management
    • Own fabrication decisions end-to-end on assigned projects: custom builds, scenic elements, structural components, material selection, and quality control.
    • Manage relationships with fabrication shops directly β€” spec builds, review and interpret drawings independently, and drive QC at every stage from first sample through final delivery.
    • Identify and resolve build issues before they become event-day problems; maintain a QC process that catches problems early.
    • Understand what things cost, know when a vendor quote is out of line, and push back where appropriate.
    • Collaborate with Creative on fabrication approach, vendor bids, material finishes, and all fabrication drawings.
  • Permitting & Compliance
    • Pull and manage permits independently across multiple markets, including street closures, fire marshal approvals, venue-specific requirements, and health and safety compliance.
    • Manage COI and insurance requirements for all vendors β€” understanding what's required in each market and ensuring documentation is complete before event day.
    • Build permitting timelines into pre-production schedules, treating permitting as a producer responsibility β€” not an ops or admin function.
    • Maintain market-specific knowledge of permitting requirements and proactively flag compliance risks early in the project lifecycle.
  • Logistics & Onsite Execution
    • Run load-ins and strikes independently, managing freight, trucking coordination, and labor from planning through execution.
    • Conduct proactive site surveys and build them into the pre-production process as a standard step β€” knowing what to look for and how findings should inform the production plan.
    • Staff, brief, and hold crew and labor accountable on event day, maintaining clear command of the floor.
    • Develop and maintain a logistics tracking system that keeps the full team aligned on shipping status, equipment, and scheduling throughout the project.
  • Technical Production
    • Spec and manage technical production requirements independently across power, rigging, AV, lighting, and interactive or digital elements.
    • Work directly with rigging crews, power engineers, and AV vendors β€” asking the right questions, reviewing specs, and identifying technical risk early.
    • Know when a vendor recommendation is sound and when to push back β€” technical fluency is a core part of this role, not a nice-to-have.
    • Identify technical risk in pre-production and resolve it before it reaches event day.
  • Budget & Financial Management
    • Own project budgets independently from first estimate through final reconciliation, hitting the designated profit margin on every project.
    • Maintain real-time budget updates throughout the project lifecycle so the team always has an accurate picture of spend.
    • Hold margin under client change pressure β€” create and submit change order requests when scope evolves, with clear documentation of cost impact.
    • Reconcile actuals against estimates at closeout, knowing where each job made or lost money and using those insights to improve future estimates.
    • Negotiate vendors down and identify cost efficiencies without sacrificing quality.
    • Work closely with Operations to close out all projects in a timely manner, ensuring all vendor invoices are received, reviewed, and reconciled.
  • Client Relationship & Communication
    • Manage client relationships independently on event day and through pre-production β€” clients should feel confident and informed without needing to escalate.
    • Navigate difficult client moments β€” scope changes, onsite issues, unexpected requests β€” without unnecessary escalation.
    • Present confidently in status calls, client reviews, and onsite briefings; communicate production status clearly and accurately.
    • Set and actively manage client expectations on timelines, deliverables, and production logistics throughout the engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Operations to track projects through the TH process, with all systems current and budgets tracked in real time.
    • Proactively identify and communicate risks, delays, or budget concerns to the appropriate stakeholders with recommended solutions.
    • Share your vendor community to positively impact project outputs; source, manage, and coordinate all third-party vendors and foster long-term relationships.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experiential marketing or live event production experience, with a proven track record of owning projects end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated ability to own full project lifecycles β€” kickoff through reconciliation β€” independently and without a senior lead bookending the job.
  • Experience owning budgets of $500K or more and carrying 3+ concurrent projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to manage fabrication shops, read and spec drawings independently, and drive QC on custom builds.
  • Direct permitting experience in multiple markets; fluency in COI requirements, fire marshal processes, and market-specific compliance.
  • Hands-on experience speccing and managing technical production: power, rigging, AV, and lighting.
  • Strong logistics competency: has run load-ins, site surveys, and crew management independently.
  • Experience leading teams (coordinators, PAs, crew) and holding people accountable for their output.
  • Strong budget management skills β€” builds from scratch, tracks in real time, reconciles actuals, and negotiates with vendors.
  • Comfort managing client relationships independently onsite and in pre-production.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills; comfortable in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Growth mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, Asana (or similar tools), and Slack.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Comprehensive Medical and Dental insurance
  • 401K plan after 1 year of employment
  • Generous paid time-off: holidays, vacation, sick/personal days, and comp days
  • Remote-first work environment
