Role Description

This role involves leading Broadridge in using the Scrum framework within teams to deliver high impact value to the organization. The Scrum Master will facilitate the successful delivery of highly visible, complex projects in support of Broadridge’s technology product development teams.

Lead a full Agile team (5-9 members) through the full Agile process lifecycle
Provide mentorship on agile processes and lead agile ceremonies and other team meetings
Partner with the Product Analyst / Owner to manage backlog requirements
Ensure teams meet sprint objectives while removing blockers or impediments
Direct Associate level Scrum Masters and lead setting up of “best practices”
Mentor the project Scrum team to exemplify Agile and Scrum values and principles
Act as a Servant-Leader and Coach to the Scrum team
Facilitate Agile processes including sprint iteration planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint demo and retrospectives, and release planning
Ensure successful completion of assigned projects and programs
Facilitate the removal of team level impediments
Manage release plans, iteration plans, forecasting, and status reporting
Ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and related documentation are timely and complete
Support risk and issue identification, and mitigation activities
Encourage collaboration and seek opportunities to improve collaboration between distributed teams
Facilitate periodic Reviews and Retrospectives
Improve transparency and visibility across the organization
Build a safe and trusting environment for conflict management
Shield the team from external interruptions
Ensure transparency around the project's goals and progress

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required
2-5 years of Scrum Master experience with a Software Development team
5+ years of project management experience in the financial services or technology industry
5+ years experience managing multiple/combined complex projects
Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques – Automated Testing, Agile Central, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Testing, Pairing, Agile Games, etc.
Scrum Alliance CSM certification (required)
CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP)
Process management skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Consensus building and negotiating skills

Salary range $90,000.00-$95,000.00
